1. Service Description

RecallRover ("Service") is operated by UpfrontOps, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service allows you to enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and receive a recall report based on data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) public database. Reports include a list of open recalls for the specified VIN, AI-generated plain-language summaries of each recall, risk assessments, and suggested next steps for visiting a dealership.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RecallRover, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Payment Terms

The Service charges a one-time fee of $13.95 per vehicle recall report. This is a single purchase — there are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the stated amount.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a no-questions-asked refund within 7 days of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your report for any reason, contact us at support@recallrover.com and we will issue a full refund. For complete details, see our Refund Policy.

5. Data Usage

When you use RecallRover, we collect your VIN, email address, and payment information. Your VIN is stored in our database solely to generate and deliver your report. We do not sell, share, or disclose your VIN or personal information to advertisers, insurers, data brokers, or any third parties except as required to process your payment (via Stripe) or deliver your report (via email). 6. NHTSA Data Disclaimer

Recall data displayed in reports is sourced from the NHTSA public recall database. RecallRover is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NHTSA or any government agency. While we strive for accuracy, recall data may be incomplete, delayed, or differ from a manufacturer's records. We present the data as provided by NHTSA and add AI-generated summaries for readability. These summaries are for informational purposes only and should not replace advice from a qualified mechanic or dealership. Always confirm recall status directly with your vehicle's manufacturer or an authorized dealer.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpfrontOps, LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall UpfrontOps, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on report data, vehicle purchase decisions, or repair outcomes.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and AI-generated text on RecallRover are the property of UpfrontOps, LLC or its licensors. You may use your purchased report for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell reports or any part of the Service without our written consent.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to: engage in automated bulk lookups or scraping; attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with our systems; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or misrepresent RecallRover reports as official government documents.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
